Having heard a number of concerns that reading my content was difficult due to the Google ads being mixed in with the content I have decided to make a change…
I will no longer be mixing ads with the content… the ads will be along the side or at the top.
I hope the readers that read the blog via the website are better able to read the content…
If you really just want to read the content a better way to get it is via an RSS reader or via email… Reading RateLadder this way currently avoids all advertising.

Wow coincidence! I was just browsing my site in IE to see what it looked like with Ads and hated the big ad in the posts. However, I decided to start by reducing the size rather than removing it completely. By the way, I believe that there is a word press plug in that hides AdSense Ads after X visits which is also an option to not annoy repeat visitors.
I must admit I had never noticed the ads in the content on your site thanks to two FireFox plug ins:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1136
And I redesigned the theme to be wider…
Do those plugins remove the banners? Or just the javascript ads?
I don’t notice much difference on the width, but now that you mention it… it does seem to have a little more room. Here is a screen shot of what I see. Both width and length are cropped a bit, but you get the idea…

SO the banners still show up, but interestingly by default the banners that I use are blocked. They are served up with the WordPress Ad plugin WP-Ads.
So If you post Ads as regular graphics or regular text, they ten to show up unless the URL is a coming from a known advertising site or subsection of a site. For example. CNN and Foxnews serve ads from both services like double click and from a specific ad folder on their sites. Both are blocked.
I would like to personally pimp Prospers.org. The discussions there are totally eye opening. They are the awesomeuss
