Kiva Loans Paid On time Again, But Don’t Die

My 4 Kiva loans have again paid on time: http://www.kiva.org/lender/RateLadder

However, Jeff & Heather over at My Microfinance have pointed out that if I die the money is forgiven…  I think that is fine if my estate chooses that, but why wouldn’t my estate pass on to my heirs where they could continue to help people.  Who gets that forgiven money?

Here is the link where they discovered the clause: http://mymicrofinance.wordpress.com/2007/12/05/kiva-lenders-if-you-plan-on-dying-please-read-this/

Here is the link where they are removing their money: http://mymicrofinance.wordpress.com/2007/12/05/migration/

“Don’t Die” Generally, I consider this good advice regardless of the ToS of a website. ;) I do agree that this policy is ridiculous and I imagine that the policy will be corrected shortly.
