I’m a fan on ING. I have an account. It’s funny that you posted this today – I have a draft in the queue about how ING threatens peer to peer lending. Prosper and other peer to peer sites beat the bank but in the case of ING and other high interest banks, the margin between what the bank gives you and you can earn on Prosper is becoming smaller. As banks get better Prosper is less attractive.

Anyway, I’ll probably publish my ING post on Monday. I mentioned them a couple weeks ago when they were one of Time’s top 50 sites and a reader wrote me and thanked me for mentioning them and said he signed up for an account.

So, I’d endorse rateladder’s post and email him for a referral if you want to open an account.
