I was reading this is the forums this morning. It made me laugh… Pretty women are probably the least discriminated against stereotypical group…
I am relatively new to prosper. Researched alot of older loans and their success rates and also studied some of the more recent loans that have been filled. It seems that prettier women get more people to bid on them and their rates drop more significantly than say an average or below average looking person.Personally, i am turned off by good looking women when it comes to lending money on prosper.
I also think that prettier women tend (not always) to be more high maintenance which could lead to bad financial situations down the road.
thoughts?
The thread is here. How will the forum respond?

That’s quite funny and sad at the same time! I imagine you can post any image for your prosper profile right? Then who knows who’s really behind that pretty face — this is the internet after all!

Yes you can use any picture you like. There is no picture identity verification.
“God help you if you are an ugly girl,
Course too pretty is also your doom,
‘Cause everyone harbors a secret hatred for the prettiest girl in the room.”
Looks are just a tool like brains, if used to help you get what you want that can’t be a bad thing. Not everyone is blessed with both so you have to work with what you have got. I certainly think that good looking men use their looks to their advantage if they can. And the old argument that “prettier women also tend to date / marry rich guys” is such a generalisation.
